This Indenture, Made this fifteenth day of April the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty two.  Between John G. Stalicher and Sarah M. His wife and Eva Eliza Reining, Jacob Stalicher all of the Town of Kinderhook, County of Columbia and State of New York, and Lavina Gardenier of the Town of Stuyvesant, in said County and William A. Stalicher and Eunice A. his wife of the Town of Claverack, said County and Catherine M. Jones, Jane McCagg of the Town of Ghent, in said County, Parties of the first part, and Jones W. Phelps of the Town of Kinderhook in said County aforesaid party of the second part.  Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part in consideration of the sum of one hundred sixty one dollars to them duly paid, have sold, and By these Presents, doth grant and convey to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, ALL that tract or parcel of land situate in the Town of Kinderhook, County of Columbia, State of New York, and bounded and described as follows.  Beginning at the Center of the road leading from Kinderhook Village by the house of Ezra Reynolds to Klein Kill and runs at a point east of the present log dwelling in the premises [page 499] hereby conveyed and runs from said point northerly along the run of water - so as to include the water Thirty seven yards.  Thence Westerly parallel to said road Sixty five yards then southerly at right angles.  Thirty seven yards to the center of said road and thence easterly along the same to the place of Beginning.  So as to contain one half acre of land and being the same premises -- Bastian Bain and Moyca his wife did by deed convey to Jacob Stalicher January 24th 1833 and recorded in Columbia County Clerks Office in deed Book CC at pages 475 and 476.  With the appurtenances and all the estate, title and interest therein of the said parties of the first part.  And the said John G. Stalicher, Sarah M. Stalicher his wife and Eva Eliza Reining, Jacob Stalicher; Lavina Gardenier, William A. Stalicher and Eunice A. Stalicher his wife, Catherine M. Jones and Jane McCagg doth hereby covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that at the time of the ensealing and delivery of these presents, they were the lawful owners and were well seized of the premises above conveyed, free and clear from all encumbrances, liens and charges whatsomeever and that the premises thus conveyed in the Quiet and Peaceable Possession of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns they will forever Warrant and Defend against any person whomsoever lawfully claiming the same or any apart thereof.  In Witness Whereof, the parties of the first part, have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Stalicher, Eva Eliza Reining, Jacob Stalicher, Lavina Gardenier, William A. Stalicher, Catharine M. Jones and Jane McCagg to me known to be the same persons described in and who executed the foregoing instrument, and severally acknowledged that they executed the same.

Columbia County   }S.S. On this 15th day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty two before me the subscriber, personally came Sarah M. Stalicher, wife of John G. Stalicher to me known to be the same person described in and who executed the within instrument, and severally acknowledged that she executed the same: and the said Sarah M. Stalicher on a private examination by me, apart from her said husband, acknowledged that she executed the same freely, and without any fear or compulsion of her said husband.
